James Bremner monument on the cliff top - he was a naval architect and a harbour designer,
and the monument was erected in 1903.
The site of the monument is locally known as 'Top of the Hundred Steps'
because there are steps cut into the rock that was used by the
lifeboat crews get to the Lifeboat quicker, and fisher women going down to gut
and pack the fish when it arrived in port by their families.
